Bishop’s Gambit
After many years of debating whether or not to expand to do some freelance work, the time has come. I had convinced myself it was “too hard!”. There were all of the questions:
“Isn’t there to much to do!” “Where do you start?” “Am I too old for this?” It comes down to options and opportunities. There are a million reasons not to do anything. I won’t be explaining chess here, I’m at best a novice player- and that’s puffing myself up. I have a lot of experience in workflow, dataflow, technology and the business that both benefits from and drives it all forward.
You realize there are a million more ways to play and win the game, though. Learn from history. Learn from the present. From the people you meet. The circumstances you are in. It’s the creative thinking that happens “inside” the box, inside the board- where the real action happens.
Look at the board and play the moves out. The options are there in front of you.
